Cannondale have been using that Lefty fork for a while on their Mountain bikes....but I cannot understand why they would want to destroy the aesthetics of a road bike by putting it on that?! Horrible design whether its on or off road in my opinion...."Forkin' hell Cannondale - sort it out!"
Ah it's actually a gravel bike, a road bike that is comfortable on rough-ish terrain.
'They' have created this new road orientated cyclocross-lite bike genre mainly for a market that doesn't exist in America, and are bringing it over here, for mugs like me.
I love the principle and certainly have been sucked in by the marketing, but luckily [MENTION=12656]Pantani[/MENTION] slapped some sense into me, and even luckier that bike is a monstrosity.
So I'll be soon shopping for either steel or cyclocross to get me through the winter.

While im on here - I've decided I'll probably get a new bike in the New Year instead of an old 2nd hand thing (no luck so far finding anything worthwhile). Does anyone know much about Mango bikes? Had a look at their website yesterday & very affordable starter bikes with 0% interest....

Not heard of Mango, but I've always had a thing for Cube bikes. They make me tingle in places only women should.

Started by a couple of students in 2012 apparently....this range looks the same sort of level as Decathlons Triban, although there is another model for a bit more which is really nice (& shimano equipped).
Very tempted by their full customized service too so I have a truly unique bike....

It's not a recommendation, but it is a full carbon bike with fishing tackle for just over £500.
As for fully customized, that's something the German's seem to particularly like, Canyon, Rose and a very long German word beginning with D, that unsurprisingly completely escapes me.
Naturally us geeks are keen for LBS' to get your business.
Blimey ordered yesterday afternoon, arrived this morning, and a loving bit of kit too.
10 year old jnr might have to fill out a little, but it should fit him well enough.
West Hoathley first.
The circular route from Lindfield is:-
Right turn off at Hammingden & Highbrook Lanes (which are lovely climbs).
Turn left and left again at West Hoathley, then back down Hook Lane.
Cobb Lane will just appear out of nowhere, so being ready with your gears is vital.
You pop out just a touch North of Ardlingly only a couple minutes from your initial right turn.
