Huge from Degenkolb. Much like last week the strongest rider won, and once he showed himself there really was little doubt who was going to win.

That was exciting.

Great racing, as usual.

What a ride by Degenkolb, he worked so hard on the front of that group, solid performance. Wiggo had a good go 25k out but no one with him who wanted to make it stick.

Big marker laid down by Luke Rowe too.

He may well have done better if...

...Wiggo was riding for him

Still a creditable end to a fantastic road career.
Hopefully Brad can now ice the cake in Rio.

Yep, good luck Wiggo and thanks for the memories. 2012 was a bitter-sweet year for me personally, but I'll never forget the highs that I got from the successes of the great man.

So they do! https://retail.cpfcstore.co.uk/retail-product.aspx?deptId=54&prodId=511

Disappointingly, they are quite nice. Cheaper than the tat the Albion tried to sell to us, too.
You'll be pleased to know Pogue, you did quite well out of the deal, when asked by jnr what I would spend £53m on.

Once the boring money was spent.
I promised to kit the geeks out in a proper Albion kit.
Plus buy a second home in St Girons, a lovely town for Pyrenean cycling and SKIING.

I'm assuming he doesn't have £53m to give me, so don't get your hopes up just yet.

Well get him up those chimneys, then!

Fortunately the back rather lets it down.
Plus no sign of a makers logo, so hopefully it'll disintegrate by Christmas.

Yes, I've just looked - the back is horrible.

I thought there was a maker's name on the sleeve - on closer examination it says 'Glad All Over'. :ffsparr:

An open goal and they still put it wide.

That is shit no matter how you look at it.

I have decided that with the exception of Stats brilliant caps, football and cycling should never mix.
I think there's room in the market for a cycling jersey incorporating a football top.
It's just the ratios are all wrong.
First and foremost it needs to be a cycling jersey.
The trend is obviously to take a football top and transfer that to a cycling, it needs to be the other way round.

If only we had access to cycling, football, a responsive chief exec, and a multi billion dollar sportswear manufacturer.

I used the www.owayo.co.uk template to knock up the last designs.
It was basic but worked well enough.

Now they've updated their design template with considerably more options, inc 3D, if anyone wants to waste a few minutes putting some jerseys together, it seems pretty user friendly.
Warning though it might become addictive.

3 quickies, they all have 'Ride or Fall' on the back, a la a players name.

The design has 3D 360 degree spinny around type effect, so what you can't see is:-

The top one has 'seagulls' down the sides.
&
The bottom one has the logo on each sleeve.
