1, 9, 12, 18 & 21st grrrrrrr.

I think Wiggins is just dealing with not getting EVERYTHING his own way, from yesterday.
I don't imagine that's happened too often recently.

I do think Cadel will easily top 20, maybe comfortably top 10.
I just don't think he has that post World Championship win spark, or the pre Worlds boring diesel.

Fingers crossed, and I know it's small crumbs, but hopefully history will look upon CE as THE rider to get shafted by riding clean.

In terms of race interest it's good to see Wiggins taking a lot less time than expected today. Makes for a much more exciting race and will test his character, which will be interesting to watch in itself. Great TT from Nibs and I'm pleased to see Evans stay right up there in contention. Ever since he changed from being a wheelsucker after that World's win into a much more exciting rider I've developed a soft spot for old frog face. GC wise though the ride of the day goes to Scarponi for me. All in all a great set of results today I reckon to keep this race wide open.

With the set of GC riders we have here it means that tomorrow is yet another stage that, rather than being nailed on breakaway win and GC soft pedal, could have GC fireworks yet again.

Was hoping Chalapud could be my Rubiano today. Pirazzi putting a bit of a spanner in that works. Wanted Pirazzi too but way too expensive.

I knew you'd have Chalapud!

But I'd be amazed if none of us have Pirazzi.

Bloody excellent racing this! They're putting Wiggo to the sword big time! Descending, and especially in the wet has proved his downfall here. Good honest quote from him today about that. Hopefully SB will be able to put it up here later as I expect it was made on Twitter.

Edit: Annoyed last night that William Hill weren't offering odds on Chalapud. He was 80/1 elsewhere and I would have taken an e/w on that for sure. Maybe now though won't get a top 3 stage finish here anyway so no great loss.

Well played. I wasn't prepared to sacrifice any of my GC riders for him, or else I would have had him in like a shot for today. Surprised at how expensive he was to be honest as well.

I've got him too!

To be fair I am struggling a bit in this Giro. Need a bit of luck to get near to the top. I seem to have made the wrong call on every 50:50 choice.

A rare lapse by you 1066! You failed to follow the golden rule in fantasy - transfer in the jersey points (Pirazzi has been chasing it for a few days, I expect that's why pantani went for him too.)!

Yep, I figured Pirazzi will be going for the Mountain points for the rest of the race. He is in and probably will stay in until we get to the flat (which does not seem to exist in this race).
