Not according to my team.

I've got Roubaix, next up.

Yes, in the spring classics competition.

Open up the competition tab and click Vuelta al País Vasco and you'll be able to pick from there.

As for placings today, I can only find the top 15 so far. From that I got: 1,2,6,10,13,15.

Edit: 16 & 19 too.

Eagle eyed stuff, top work fella.

Picked team in less than a minute.

In a break from tradition. (I'm sure everybody knows by now to take no notice)

Sergio Luis Henao (SKY)
Michael Albasini (GRE)
Thomas de Gendt (VCD)
Gorka Izagirre (EUS)
John Gadret (ALM)
Jeremy Roy (FDJ)
Jakob Fuglsang (AST)
Dmitriy Kozontchuk (KAT)
Mikel Landa (EUS)

Oh and 1, 2, 11, 16, 20.

Gutted I missed out on Haussler, I knew there was someone I'd earmarked but he completely slipped my mind.

Hopefully they'll send an email reminder so none of us wanting to pick a team miss out.

Think you're missing an Euskatel rider there aren't you ???

Forgive the swell headedness, but I'm well chuffed with placing 8 of my 9 riders in the Top 20 today {insert smug smiley here}. However, I think mini 1066(m) may still have picked up more points than me.

Ooops, forgot that rule.

Well at least one of your two is wrong then :p
Oh don't make me go back and check, that'll take longer than the team selection.

So Euskadel have a sprinter, who knew

Cards on the table time gentlemen.

My team: Sagan, Cancellara, Chavanel, Terpstra, Van Avermaet, Thomas, Offredo, Tosatto and Rosseler.

Can't see past a Sagan win today, the flat straight run in with a head wind means it is going to be hard to solo away from the final select group. If Sagan is there he will be the quickest.

Have just watched the race, so had to avoid this thread until now...Can't believe your team - it's almost exactly the same as what mine was. The only differences are that instead of Tosatto and Rosseler, I went for another Chavanel (strength in depth!) and Planckaert. Now to check my placings...

1st, 2nd, 7th, 13th, 16th.

Then GT 41st, I'm still holding onto the hope that I'll be cheering him home next week, in the velodrome in Roubaix.

Getting a reliable startlist for Pais Vasco isn't easy. Certainly the one for the game doesn't tally well with ones I've seen elsewhere. Looks like some teams will only be confirming their line ups very late in the day.

I've cobbled a team together for now but I'm really not sure how many of them are likely to start.

Edit: Looks like they've just updated the game to match the start lists available elsewhere.

Strong ride form the Beast today, would not bet against him doing the double next week in northern France.

Immense ride. Double looks almost nailed on too considering Boonen not likely to start and Sagan not riding it either apparently.

Did you go over to watch today?

Balls, missed out on picking a team for stage 1. I'm just giving the rest of you a chance...

A big chance for anyone wise enough to stick breakaway specialist Amets Txurruka in their team. Not me I hasten to add. He should be caught before the finish today but it could be interesting. I had a brief selection look at the other breakaway rider (now dropped) Lareunt Didier and instantly dismissed him.

Gap now for Txurruka is 1:20 with 28km to go.

Break caught. Bert bound to have a dig I reckon seeing as how livley Saxo have been. I'm hoping it's a stage win for one of my puncheurs though.
