Boonen won't win all the spring classics every year. Lampre is an interesting one though, they surely do not have the money but they never seem to win anything these days.

Pink is fine, but that dark blue just does not suit someone with his complexion.

Lampre is an interesting one, they have had an absolutely terrible season. Only seven wins in total and none at world tour level. Three wins in the Bayern Rundfahrt; two in Coppi e Bartali; one at the Giro del Trentino and the GP Carnago*. That is a real shocker of a season by anyone's standards.

Well the big new Stat is my missis was at the Strickly Come Dancing premier filming until late last night, as a cyling fan she was all out for Vicky who is paired with the NZ fella. She reckons Vicky has nailed it so far.

She said that Vicky, Louis (gymnast) and Jonny Ball got the biggest cheers last night.

Go Vicky shake your thing. Also watched a good interview last night with Brad, on some rugby programme, he love Wigan RL. Stated he also wants to walk away from cycling when he finishs as its been the only thing in his life, he mentioned going into team sports, possibly in some training role.

Agreed, never thought he would end up at Lampre but looking at this stuff made me look at their season. It will be BMC or OPQ no one else has the money, or the right kind of team.

I'm currently halfway through a cracking Bernie Eisel interview.

Cav reported to be on 3 million plus euros a year. Makes you wonder if HTC can't get a backer with a team that delivers wins, who will. Italien cycling has money and Cippolini & Petaki have made this popular.

Sky would easily ley him go with their blessing but it needs to be the right move that will have a team working all out for the Green jersey and 3 grand tour multiple stage wins. He showed yesterday he has become a more rounded sprinter that can win without all out sling shots.
