Both 100mm travel. The difference might be is that he has 27.5" wheels and I think mine are 26"......easiest way to find out is to just swap the front wheels to see if they fit first.

Definitely, also, are the steerer sizes the same? 1.5" to 1 1/8" are the most common these days but I can't remember when that started being a thing.

Everyone hibernating now the road season is over....? ???

My daughter participates in cyclocross races when the road season finishes.

This one did not go very well for as it was a bit muddy :lolol:

I've really got into CX this winter, and have been watching as many races as I can on ES, GCN Racing & RedBull TV. Its amazing to watch - and I wonder why, in 35 yrs of riding, I've not got into it before now...especially as Im a keen off-roader as well!
Will be down at East Brighton Park on Sunday for the next round of the London & SE CX League cheering on the riders!

I'm in rehab (or fat if you will) mode at the moment. What better way to try and break that than adding a few hills? Cleaned myself out good and proper. Crazy reliance on granny gear near the end. In a perverse way I wouldn't have it any other way.

If anyone is interested, Carlton Kirby from Eurosport will be doing a talk up at the Grand Central pub on Jan 22. Me and a couple of friends have got tickets already (early bird prices finish today) & he will be signing copies of his book "Magic Spanner" too.
Promises to be a fun, entertaining evening!

Couldn't you save yourself a few quid and just listen to any of his race commentaries instead....each and every one of them are all about him as well.

If I was looking for confirmation that CX was not for me, I think your photos have given it to me!

I will stick to the road bike and the MTB. Seems madness to cross them over in my book!

If I was with a club I would be seriously tempted to give it a go next winter...but when you see how tough cx is, you do kinda think "why are they putting themselves through it?" :lolol:

Nice pics

If you fancy a trip over to the better half of Sussex for some cross action then you may want to get yourself down to The Hub in Bodiam next Sunday (1st Dec).

Lovely location and a popular cafe stop for some of our club rides. Should be a good day out for those that like that sort of thing.

Unfortunately Im away this coming weekend with the missus in Hampshire...will certainly be looking to go to more cross events next winter though!

Littlehampton is not in Chichester.
How very rare you - Littlehampton indeed.
I should report you for that kind of abuse.

Oh and Selsey isn't Chichester, either.
