Are riders giving it a miss because they suspect Froome may be knackered following the Giro (or banned?) making the tour a more viable option - especially with the 8-man teams?

I've entered the league and was surprised by the lack of names (sky aside, who have their usual ridiculously-strong GC team). I'm pinning my hopes on Dowsett doing well in one of the TTs.

Cheers Stat .... It appears you now only need one league entry for a whole season / year of races... so those who entered Spring Classics automatically go into that NSC Geeks league again?

Code for that league was 40649249.. Not sure if poss to amalgamate, I've entered both

Entries close 11.45 am on Friday for this one.. You have been warned Pogue!

Oh gosh I've just had a flashback to last nights meeting on the race track.

You'll not be surprised to know there's a large amount of 'porn' on display.

The under 16's is carbon and skinsuits all the way.
The under 14's is less so, but not by much.
The under 12's seems to be a fine array of decent bikes, Frog, Hoy, Isla etc.
With the under 10's looking a little more 'mix and match'.

You really don't want to know about the adults!

Anyhoo this one little fella from the mix n match section was kitted out fairly nondescript in a 'we're not spending the money until you prove you like it' style (like we haven't all been there) except for one thing.

He was wearing:-

He was wearing a helmet worth more than the car we arrived in.
He got an extra cheer and encouragement from me.

You should let your lad post his rides on your Strava account as you’re not using it anymore :D

Oh hasn't he posted it yet, on his own, not like him.

I tell you what the girl that won his race, won it by a country mile and according to jnr she set off on a solo break after the first bend of the first lap, with nearly 24 windy miles ahead of her.

Yeah he's buzzing at the end, despite being very under-powered.
Which is most unlike the competitive little bugger.

It's just a shame, this year, is a 3 race event so next week is the last.

I’m sure his school would of drummed it into him already, but it’s the taking part that counts not the winning. :)

That message usually get met with a blank expression, followed by a footballing self-commentary which had Messi said it the reply would be 'are you sure it happened just like that'.

Sorry a too late edit:-

7 miles 20(ish) minutes ahead of her.

Interesting that no-one (including me) put T.D in their Giro teams this year...despite him being hot favourite to retain the title.

I did a 'place holder' team with every intention of of sprucing it up later.
When later came around I couldn't be bothered, so this will be you lots best chance to finally beat me.
