I thought even ur winter bike's got bubble wrap on it Stat!

Very true, sadly I've been rather weighed down with 'stuff' for a while now.
I'm waiting for another and hopefully final piece to drop into place and hopefully I'll be able to get out more.

My best summer of riding followed my longest winter of riding in wind, snow and ice.

Ah yes, someone once told me, and I quote. “Winter mikes = summer smiles”. How true.

Freezing cold isn't, or at least shouldn't be, a problem.
Sure starting in the rain is almost impossible, but just grinding into a brutal headwind is almost soul destroying.

Heading there in about half an hour, you didn't happen to notice anything in the 'odd sized young teen' size bracket, did you?

As tricky says there's not a lot left but there was 2 pairs of small bib shorts for £10 each. One pair bought, happy days.

Thanks geeks.

Got out on an early ride today to get back in time for full race coverage. Just watched nearly 2 hours of poor old Brian van Goethem trying to get in the break, only for team mate Pim to take the honours instead :(

Wouter Wippet not riding today.
But I did manage to sneak a cheeky Stepper into my team on 6 points.

Good move. Impossible to have too many Steppers in this race, and all the other cobbled classics come to that!

Not too shabby from me today, 4 of the top 10 but not the winner.

I might even have 7 of 8 points scorers depending on how the 3rd group came in.

Curse you Jelly Wally

All the third group were beaten by Timo Roosen. Guess who took him out just before he got 13th in DVV
