I'm probably cycling to the Leeds Game tonight. Where's the best place to park my bike close to the WSU?

There are bike racks under the bridge at the train station, but that could be awkward to get to after the game with the queues (I'm told there are arrangements, but I've no idea how well they work).

There are other bike racks dotted around the stadium supposedly, but the ones I know about are beside the train tracks across from the club shop (red bit below)

There's about 100 spaces in a cycle rack by the fence on the left
as you come up from the station - haven't seen it full yet......but then I get there an hour before ko and leave an hour after.

I cycled to the Liverpool game - if you are familiar with the car park that is used for visitors to the stadium store - as you go across the bridge section if you go off to the parking area on the right there is a cycle rack up the far end. Mine was the only bike parked there on Wednesday night !!!!! I would recommend not using the racks at the station because you will queue for ages in the crowds before you can get near it after the game.

There are always spare spaces at the location mentioned above that is opposite the club shop.
You won't have a problem locking to something.

Thanks, I'll try that one

Am cycling on Tuesday and am keen to avoid going over the station (or anywhere near it) so am going for Village Way. Is there obvious cycle parking around the stadium coming from that direction? Cheers.

Are you coming from Lewes? If you are there is a cycle path all the way along the A27. If you are coming from Rottingdean way forget it. The road down to the stadium is far too dangerous.

Also If you are coming from Lewes they will not let you over the bridge by the pub in to Falmer village.

I was told that only people that can use the bridge and get to the stadium via Falmer village is people with children because its dangerous for them to cross the road.

Its actually quite easy to use the new ramps at the stadium. To avoid the stairs just use the ramp on the side where people get off the train from Brighton.

Will be coming from Brighton on the cycle path then planning to take the B2123 roundabout onto The Drove and onto Village Way. Would prefer to bypass the station altogether - especially after the match.

If you are coming from brighton, how much avoiding of the train station did you want? You can use the path along the bottom of BACA (formerly falmer school) which goes alongside the train station

Cycling back that way you would have to be careful because the path can get busy, but most cyclists seem to be ok with it if they have a little patience at times.
