I have a 'delicate stomach' shall we say.. I went to India for 6 months and only had the shits twice !

Once of four months and then again for another 2 months.

I've got a mate who suffers similarly, He's got round the problem by ordering a Korma but asking the restaurant to " madras it up a bit " so he reckons he gets the benefit of a madras taste but his brain registers the coconut aspect of a korma........

I have noticed that my tolerance to anything spicier than a tikka masala leaves me in the toilet for hours, is this all part of getting older or should I just stay away from the chilies ???

I would say you need to blow it all out your system with a vindaloo that sorts the men from the boys

I've noticed that a takeaway will result in a very unpleasant visit to the porcelain prince in the morning. If I make it myself though, which will invariably be much hotter than a takeout, I don't get any problems.

I have terrible strife with my guts. Much better since i knocked bread on the head. Gluten intolerance apparently! Thankfully curry has never been an issue (unless i can't resist a naan of course).

I would check out any possible alternatives before you go blaming the curry.

Before you eat a curry cut a scotch bonnet chilli in half and rub it on your hoop - you won't notice any discomfort caused be eating the curry after this.
:lolol:

i went to a ghanaian gaff in paris once and after a ridiculous amount of vin rouge was served with a bowl of chilli goat stew........it was delicious and i scoffed it ........a while later the table dude came back with a big bowl of maize meal which was apparently an accompaniment to the soup " weh is da soopp" he said" i ett it "says i " oh , didn't you find it a bit spicy?" he said....." it had a bit of a tang yes" i said.......we had a few more dishes .....some black eyed bean and fish dish and a lot more booze............i had to interrupt my coitus activitys with mrs syd to pebble dash the porcelain in the morning......i felt like some one had sprayed my ring with super strength ralgex and then put a belt sander on it.........worst ever...!!
