We shouldn't sign the Millwall bloke. Even McGhee says he's not that good so let's havea look round and get someone in who can score. More worrying though is a player-maker: where the hell are we going to find someone as good as Currrie for next to nothing?

So what do we do:
Bring in another winger with the DC money,
Bring in a Striker with the DC money,
Bring in an Attacking midfielder with the DC money,
Bring in someone from the youth system in the left Wing position,
Bring back Jones or Jarrett to that position,
Stick Hart in that position even though he is a right winger/striker,
Stick Hammond out there,
Put Harding in that position, then put Mayo at Left back,
Put Paul Watson in that role,
Put Knight in that position, and have Virgo and Claridge upfront,
Have Jake Robinson as left winger,
Have a 3 man midfield with wing backs,
Have Kuipers out there,

What do people think? alot of us play on these management computer games, what would you do if you were manager?

Any chance that peter Crouch could be loaned out from Southampton? Must be about 5th choice there, and that's BEFORE Harry does his usual assault on the transfer market in January.

In the Prem he looks out of his depth, but scored plenty at this level for Pompey and QPR.

Crouch and Owusu on loan. That'll be perfect. At last someone to get on the end of Currie's superb crosses ... oh hang on.

I'd click start again and replay the 2000/2001 season but not sign Cameron, Lehman, Kitson, Rodger, Blackwell, Piercey, Lee or Roberts in future seasons and maybe even Butters but make sure we got Sidwell and Ingimarsson and sold Zamora for 3 million to Everton.
