I'm halfway through putting all our players in (and none of the reserves yet) and my team looks soooo crap compared to most others

Is he not? That's surprising!

I'll have a dig in the previous years version for his stats if you like? Managers ones tend to vary a lot less year on year (unless they have a storming season) so should be close enough...

Finally ive completed after sitting here for an hour reshuffling things. okay all done and everything works, I accept the formation is sh!t but only one that worked

I chose him but it was then noted that he was ineligible and I then changed him. so your right in saying that he was picked but the issue is already resolved.
