Right, I'm having Asamoah Gyan. His incredible stats include 39 goals in 77 games for Ghana, and an astonishing 59 goals in 47 games for Al Ain where he is earning ridiculous money. He can play in any attacking position and guarantees goals.

He's also a Brown Belt in Jiu-Jistsu, a boxing promoter a DJ and a HipHop artist. FLAIR.

O.K so Shatner's Bassoon's picking of Igor Akinfeev really threw me for a loop as I was relying on him as my hidden gem of a keeper and filling one of the more difficult categories. My strategy has been thrown for a loop as I've had to decide do I go for a quality keeper(every team needs one) or fill the more difficult categories. After much pondering I've decided to gamble and get myself a world class keeper.

So, pick 8 for team GNLF is going to be one of the very best keepers in world football. His 6 foot 4 inch frame creates an imposing barrier for any opposition striker and belies his amazing reflexes and shot stopping ability. In the 2010/11 season he saved an incredible six penalties, equalling the seri A record set in 1948/9. He is the rock upon which Inter Milan's defence is built and has been Slovenia's first choice keeper since 2004. He qualifies for team GNLF having played over 200 games for Udinese. I've thought long and hard about category 12, it's caused me a lot of grief as I've a few positions left to fill and most of the cream has been skimmed off the top already.

Thankfully, it seems that one has slipped the net. He's widely considered to be one of the brightest English talents out there, with a deft touch, thunderous tackle and insane workrate.

He'll fit in as one of my holding midfielders, with a licence to roam as he wishes.

He is, of course, Jack Wilshere.
