At 58 yo I find it hard that my Daughters have never experienced Wembley. Last season we were one home game away from the biggest game for years. Problem is the FA Cup just isn't the same anymore and the fact that tonights game is so cheap sums it up. To me the semi should be at a neutral ground. But to answer the question, FA Cup run for sure. Beat Hull, Sunderland at full price tickets to get some money in, then Wembley and a big pay day.

There's no reason why we cannot achieve both. However, if I had to choose I would say FA Cup Semi 100%. Even if we lost, we would receive £450,000 from the FA and that's notwithstanding TV rights, sponsorship deals, ticket/sales income and additional merchandise sales. I also think we would also take in excess of 35k to Wembley and that would equate to over £1 million in gate receipts.

It would also provide benefits long term as a large number fans from other parts of the country/world would also see Brighton for the first time due to the more commercial coverage of us being in the cup.

All of this would mean that our transfer kitty next season could be significant compared to other clubs and with the way we think the club is being run at the moment, that could make us financially, one of the strongest teams financially in the Championship.

Assuming it can be only one (which is nonsense, of course), I vote Cup.

Both ,83 was very special as getting to the premier would be.I dont understand why we cant have both.,Winning cup/league games at this time of the season could lead to real momentum that could take us to both.

Why has the bar been set so low in terms of a semi final or play-off spot.

Needs to be revised to cup winners or promotion.

No doubt there would be loads of moaning about Thursday night Europa league games and Sunday fixtures in the league.

Absolutely DELIGHTED to see the way this poll's going! Normally when an FA Cup tie comes around it's all: "Don't care, would rather we got three points against Ragarse Rovers next week". As has been pointed out the two aren't mutually exclusive and we can do both; indeed the FA Cup run could inspire the play-off place.

Both are big asks of course, but hey, we can dream!

With a 1 in 3 chance of meeting either Sheffield Wednesday  Sheffield United or Charlton in the Semi..... I'm already dreaming of the final.

FA Cup all the way for me
