..The Good - seeing and meeting the household name heros of 1983 seeing the cup run again in front of a big crowd seeing the 58 team and archive footage , chatting with Moseley, Digweed , Ramsey, Smillie , and even Smith ,hugging Harty in the bogs and Blooby, pissing with Des !!!

The Indifferent - The Auction process, oh Jimmy Jimmy Case's inchoherent, racist, and univited ramblings toward the end Gary Howletts self assumption he is some kind of superstar!!! Jimmy Case having to be held up at the end by Gerry Ryan who walks with a stick.

The Bad - being told to stuff ten pound per table member (tables of ten some eleven) into a brown yes brown envelope, now there were at least 49 tables and the prize was £ 500 pounds or a shirt or be a director for a day!!!! you do the math......that **** Richie Reynolds, Mr Speedway, Millard lording it up.....huggin Harty in the bogs, the shit wine at £30 quid a bottle.


Although all in all we had a good night

But I'd agree with some of your comments, especially about the wine.

And Jimmy Case was feeling no pain - till tomorrow.

And my kids enjoyed it too despite not having been alive for the cup final n(OK, one of them was 9 months old)

Shame Michael Robinson couldn't make it.

And good stirring speeches from Gordon Smith and Wardy.

And my son bought two rounds, so it wasn't a totally wasted night!!!!!!!
