Well it looks like our main man is on his way to The Blades by the end of the week:nono:

To me it looks like we are being slowly stripped of all our best assets and the Board dont seem to want us to stay in this league as it will be a lot easier on the Wage Bill if we are a League One Side next year!!

With Currie gone, now DC and also another decent young player on his way in January plus the debacle of the Spurs tickets, where we were offered 7,000 tickets it seems to me that The Board want our money but arent prepared to give us a decent team to support anymore and also no chance for a lot of young Albion fans to see there team at a Premiership ground.

Surely a short tem loan would have got over the problem of paying for the tickets?Or does this Club no longer want to encourage any younger fans to watch them??

The way this is all going the Albion will lose out on TWO Generations of Albion Fans.

Also I have also heard that the Club dont want Ian Hart to do his Comparing bit at The Grand tonite,I wonder why??

Will he pass the medical CS?

This is one rumour I will take notice of.

I can see us having to play a youth team from January onwards. We will have sold almost everyone else.

Maybe we need a clear out to get loanees in ?

Perhaps given that at least 3 clubs are managing to perform significantly worser than us it is worth a gamble ?

Trouble maybe if injuries kick in, I heard on the grapevine Hart wanted out.

Warnock's soft centre

Sheffield United boss Neil Warnock could step up his search for a new centre-half after criticising his side's defending this season.

The Blades let slip a two-goal lead in the South Yorkshire derby at Rotherham, with both the home side's goals coming from set-pieces.

"My heart is in my mouth every time we concede a corner or a free-kick in a dangerous position," Warnock said.

"We practise defending them all the time, but there is only so much you can do."

"Perhaps we just don't have the ability to man-mark," he told the club's official website.

Thanks for that BR made me feel so much better.

It'll be a blow if true but not a disaster. Cullips contribution to the Albion cause is beyond question. However, as a player I feel he's peaked and any decent offer should be grabbed. Central defence is an area we have strengh in. A central defence of Butters plus Virgo/Hinshelwood is fair cover. The latter two are the future long term pairing. (That's of course if we don't sell them! ) Add to that El Abd and Mayo can cover in that area. In reserve we also have good prospects in Gary Elphick and Joel Lynch. Of course, I'd like to see any cash used toward strenghening our real area of weakness which I.M.O is midfield. I'm not holding my breath though......

If Cullip and Harding go discount Watson and defenders are:

Virgo, Hinshelwood, Mayo, El-Abd, Butters and Reid without any loanees.

Still reasonable IMHO.

Cullip is still the heart and soul of this team, and if you thought Currie leaving was bad this will be 10 times worse...

the way he came over by himself on Saturday at the end did look a bit worrying :nono:

However, El abd, virgo, and hinselwood are good enough at centre back. And also butters for one more season.

Any idea of the fee?

More worrying on why they don't want Harty compering , maybe Harty will come off the fence at last and tell us the truth about what is really happening at the club.

Possibly but not sure how much he really knows
