I disagree, we dont have players who can come in and replace Cullip.

Any of the other back 4 we can do without, i think we are certanties fro relegation if we lose him.

Be Fair Marshy you have not seen the Albion much this season and can't really make a comment like that, the young lads will come in and do a really good job, playing alongside Big Guy, come on lets be positive instead of negitive, thats not our way if it was we would have died years back.

I agree, we lost Bobby and won promotion so losing Danny and stay up, come on Marshy;) will be fine.

I said it was time to cash in on Cullip and stand by that.

Getting regular games in the team in defence our youngsters will come on leaps and bounds and hopefully form the basis of a solid unit that can play together for the next few seasons.

Shoreham of course
Ok, we have Hinshelwood, Virgo and El abd to fill Cullips boots, but Danny has certain leadership qualities we need in the team,
I would rather see Harding and Knight go than Cullip

I think DC is a vital player for us in terms of leadership and drive, i also think he is a better Captain then he is a player. I would be gutted if he left as he a legend in the Steve Foster mould but i don't think that it would be the end of the world if we got a decent fee and some of it was reinvested in the playing side.

Now if Mr Knight were to give Pints Of Whisky say even 30-50k of any fee recieved i would be happy and i think Mcghee would definately keep us up. However if Dick Knight ( who i think is a God for what he has done for us) does continue to sell players without supplying Mcghee with some kind of money to bring fresh faces then we are going down.

I cant bring myself to do it !

I dont think he will get offered a new deal at the end of the season either...another player earning too much money i fear.

Agreed and I would rather be fighting for Falmer in the Championship with crowds of 6500 to 7000, than being relegated to Div1 with most of our best players gone, probably consolidating in mid-table with crowds of 6000 or less and trying to convince the powers that be that we need a new stadium!!

I'm gutted for all the people who bought the new shirt in August and put the name "Cullip" on the back.

The same applies to Currie, and Harding, and Knight etc etc ...

:(

Gutted!... such is football. If they were unaware of how the beautiful game works then they shouldn't be buying one in the first place.

I would have thought with Cullip being near Legend status, due to his presence through these recent good times, his name will have a certain longevity and therefore be able to be worn with pride by the shopping shirt wearers.
