First time I've seen it too. Had a quick look at the T&Cs, wondering if they'd left any loopholes for people who decided they didn't fancy going after all. They don't seem to have done:

Too ill to go? Sure, we'll refund you - providing you provide a doctor's note. No, that doctor can't be you or a family member.
Car broke down? Sure, we'll refund you - providing you provide the recovery company's report and a certified garage repair bill.
Died? Sure, we'll refund you (I suspect they mean your estate) - providing you provide a certified copy of the Death Certificate.

It's not unreasonable, but they're definitely setting out their stall to make it difficult for you to actually get a refund.
