Did we just take Burn off?
Not gonna let a football result ruin my week. What happens, happens.I like your positivity
Go away
We are back in the arena of home matches being a fantastic advantage, how long that will last I don't know. But Palace away, when they never looked like scoring for the first half is okay, we were not brilliant but we soaked up the pressure, I have no doubt we were looking at the bigger picture and winning this later in the match.
But Trossard and Cucurello lost their focus for a split second.
So Potter will be on plan B...or C or D.
I love Potter but he makes some bizarre changes at times. Alzate for Burn, interesting to say the least
Should have been Gross not Burn coming off

That is inevitable consequence of the hard press.
Palace press hard, pushing the opposition into mistakes... which they WILL achieve. That's the point of the hard press.
But Potter's tactics was that if a player makes a mistake, which they will, there will be someone to cover, which they were.
Palace had NO clear cut chances in that half. As intended. We were tactically spot on in that half.
The only difference was a silly Trossard foul, which was unintended and unnecessary.
Bringing Alzate on to strengthen the central midfield is like trying to put a fire out with petrol
Plan I have no idea what I am doing. Potter really makes some strange decisions. There we go plan B or is it C, With Burn off and Alzate on.
