If Montoya had done the Ronaldo dive instead of attempting a shot, it would have been a penalty. That's honesty for you

Annoyingly, this is exactly the kind of game we'll go on to lose.
We've been excellent so far, just that finishing touch needed. Still keeping my fingers crossed for 0-2.

Carragher and Coady unaminous in saying it should be a pen. Crap from VAR
Ian Wright saying the same.
Sidders being a bit more diplomatic.

Dermot Gallagher using all his expertise by saying:-
'well if they give it the decision will upset someone' - that's why they pay him the big bucks.

I can only assume that Ron Challis is on VAR tonight. I am fecking fuming about that injustice

Palace will surely go tighter on Trossard, he’s the out ball every time. Loving that we’re playing a bit of long ball at times to turn their defenders, smart thinking. Just need a goal really.

True, but there's no reason for VAR not to give it, only corrupt refs. No ref can be that incompetent when viewing the replay from multiple angles and in slow motion.
