That said, lovely first half. Knockaert smashing palace in the first ten seconds, Dunk imperious, Murray with almost his first touch capitalising on some comically poor school boy defending to lash in his 100th Brighton league goal in front of the Holmsdale.

I've been impressed by Ali J's work rate. We saw some of his attacking potential last week, this week we've seen his industry and discipline. Not sure how much longer he will last, he seems to fadein the second half but an impressive first one none the less.

We need to be really mentally tough in the second half. Palace are going to throw everything at us and we've been known to collapse in second halves this year. We need another two or three before I can even think about relaxing...

There has only been one nailed on penalty today and it wasn’t given. Still it’s Craig Pawson we should be grateful we still have 11 men on the pitch

Alireza Jahanbakhsh is a right winger. BHA will not get their full moneys worth until we start playing him on the RIGHT. That’s where he scores goals from, sends in pinpoint accurate crosses from, and has a great first touch from. Knocky isn’t even letting Alireza take free kicks from the left! Hope he is able to switch over in the second half.
