I recall the bile in my mouth wanting palace to beat Cardiff.
This is just a meh game fortunately. Obviously a pile of red cards and a few injuries that are in no way career threatening but take up most of the season would be ideal

Crystal Palace 0 Man Utd 5, with a season ending injury for Zaha, a straight for Guehi and all with the news that Andersen's tweaked whatever is actually worse than previously thought and he's out all season too.

Strange, but i've lost my anti Palace mojo slightly.
They arent true rivals quite so much now
Where we seem to be getting to a higher level, they are slipping further and further behind us, and its getting to the stage that
they dont come into my thoughts so much now,
Always 2nd result i'd look for was the turds, now my 2nd result are the teams around us.
Palace have gone to the list of lower level Premier teams.
Still be nice if they went down though
Hate Mancs too boring 0-0 draw
Let’s not forget Palace stuck with us as rivals through some very dark years when we were dog awful and languishing at the absolute bottom of the Division 4. I’d like to think we can keep up our dislike after just one season of finishing above them in the same division.

Wouldn’t mind them f***ing off for a while to be honest, just to monitor their attendances in the championship
I'll save you the bother - there would be about 8,000 empty seats for the average game. No gates of over 25,000 for them I'm afraid.

Now you can get back to hoping they stay up at the expense of Man Utd. That way, we can all look forward to seeing their spectacular new stand next season.

I can't decide whether or not Man Utd are catchable or indeed whether Palace could get sucked into a relegation battle, so on that basis I think a draw might be best: Palace drop points at home, Man Utd lose ground for a top 4 place. A result that satisfies neither.

Whatever the result, there will be positives for us.

I suppose when I talk to any Palace fans it feels like I have more in common with them than it does when I talk to Sussex-born and bred armchair fans of Man Utd.

True, I know some massive bell-ends who support Palace too. One of the key objectives in any season has to be finishing above them and beating them home and away if possible.

But honestly, I think I have more disdain for people who support a big club, many miles from where they live and with which they have no family connection, just because there's a tradition of silverware and they're on TV a lot.

So tonight ... I'm not sure I care either way really. Any home defeat for Palace amuses me. But I also like seeing big six clubs losing against lesser teams. Not sure I can be bothererd to watch so I'll check the score on Ceefax later.

See a dullard is on Sky again (assume sponsored by Marmite given the advertising on the wall) talking about Utd's takeover.

We could still catch ManU - I BELIEVE! - we are barely half way through the season😇- so goalless draw please - the first of 11 PL games with goalless draws for both of them.

(Plus - Zaha looses it over a disallowed goal and gets a 3 match ban for destroying a pitchside VAR monitor. Rashford plays like shit and has a post match hissy fit with EtH for not scoring- goes awol for 4 weeks and then offered to Brighton for £12m.) 😜

anything that sends CPFC into a tailspin of doubt, weakness and failure is alright by me... would love to go there in February with them having lost 7 out of 8 and for us to serve them their ARSES on a plate... bring on the holmesdale throat-slitting from the most overrated twat fans in football...

Man Utd win by a mile (we aren't going to catch them) which then allows Palace to beat Newcastle at the weekend without too much risk of making up significant ground on us.

Genuinely don’t care, I suppose a draw will suit us best though

I used to go along with the “If they both can’t lose a draw is best” sentiment but not so sure now. By wishing for a draw you are denying yourself the pleasure of watching one of them lose! In that case Palace to lose please to keep the feckers off here!

I’m assuming the Zaha Red is two yellows for diving, right?
