A Palace-supporting friend has been playing this, and it's gone on for 10 years...

* Just going around and around with nothing really happening

* No houses or hotels as no proper investment allowed

* Picked up a card which said “Go back three spaces to Roy Hodgson” - nightmare!

* Picked up another card which said “Go directly to new stand” – but it doesn’t exist

* Everyone reluctant to take a Chance

* ‘Free parking’ space is actually a Sainsbury’s car park

* A Zaha playing piece is provided (for nostalgia fans) but it can’t stand upright

* A lot of the money has just disappeared


Sounds like an utterly soul-destroying experience for Palace fans!

I played it in 2018 and tried to upgrade 4 houses to a new stand and I’m still waiting.

You do get nice fences to put in a ring around money. And a few small cat figures for the Roy figure to hurl at you. And a nice picture of Dougie after the Andone game representing Waterworks. But I don't like the rule that says you have to miss 10 goes before you can land on a Station.
