Crystal ball time. 12 months on where will we be?

When this whole sorry episode finally plays itself out, 365 days from today, 20th May 2014, where will the Albion be?

Automatically promoted to the Premiership?

Looking forward to a Wembley play off final?

Mid table mediocrity?

Or worse?

It's been a turbulent time and we have already lost Bridge, Upson and Vicente and probably Kaz. Others will follow. If (or when) Gus goes, there will have to be a fair bit of rebuilding. Mid-table next year I think.

Trig currently we seem to be acting like a Sunday league club.
Nah, much ado about nothing. Managers and owners fall out all the time, managers leave, new ones come in. The only thing that's slightly different is that someone (allegedly) did a jobby on the floor. Meanwhile up north, someone stuck a pigs head in someone's locker. All a bit ridiculous, but hardly the end of the world.

So much depends on the next couple of weeks, if Gus goes and Bloom makes a decent appointment then I don't see why we can't mirror this Season. We still have the basis of a good squad.

If it drags on and/or Bloom makes a poor appointment we could so easily be lower mid-table dross.

Relieved that we escaped relegation to League One on the final day of the season. 16 teams fought it out this season.

Heart says automatic promotion is a possibility; head says that, given all the trouble, mid-table is more likely, with us pushing for promotion again in 2014/15.

Just far enough away from LDC
We sacked cattlin and brought in mullery back in the 80s or alleged insubordination. We got relegated.

We sacked Wilkins and brought in Adams 5 years ago (when all the media were saying how hard work dw had been) and we just avoided relegation.

So provided tb doesn't bring back an ex favourite (russel salde anyone) then we may be okay.

Hopefully at least in the play-offs. Would love to see you guys in the Premier League soon and would probably come around for a game or two as I live nearby.
