Tried to watch a lot of him over the last day. Yes just YouTube highlights, but I'm not sure about this one. He seems very different to the kind of player I imagine us signing. Very selfish. Kind of like a poor man's Sterling. Intriguing one this.

A little bit old but still a good comparison piece on Kaoru and Crysencio.

I assume you mean Ibrahim Osman, yes, but he wasn't loaned out because we hadn't yet bought him. We had an agreement to buy him in THIS transfer window.
Ahaaa. Thanks

Amazing signing if we can get him. Always had the technique and last season he started to become better as a team player. Probably now or never if we want to get him. He's a lot more ready than Ibrahim Osman to contribute next season.

We have until June 30th one would imagine before the big boys with their 24/25 budgets come to the party.

Lost faith in our ability to sign players recently. I hope we can pull out a least a couple of decent signings this summer.

yep, Barco looks a right donkey. Pedro just a Brazilian barn-door-Billy. Sima, fluked his way to the AFCON young player of the tournament. Enciso; honestly, what does he do? And we’ve only got five players in the golden future top100. I mean, really, five is just pathetic when no other club has more than four.

Pray for BHA 🙏

In fairness to Dwayne (can’t believe I’m saying that) I assume he means ability to get some of the more high profile signings over the line rather than the quality of the players we do sign. Proof will be in the pudding this summer, anyway - I expect we’ll see a couple in the £25-£30m bracket based on some of the names we’ve been rumoured to be after in recent windows.

You mean the guy who was delighted that we didn't sign Kudus?

I strongly suspect that we'll break our transfer record. Not by a huge amount. We were in for players last summer who would have been sold for way above our record and, from the little I understand, it was more down to not meeting wages rather than fees that prevented these from getting over the line.

And let's not forget Dwayne will also be happy to bet against Hinshelwood ever getting to make 20 first team appearances for The Albion.

Although Kudus would have been an amazing signing, in fairness to Dwayne, we wouldn't have got him without a release clause it seems. A release clause that several clubs are looking to exploit after just one good season. Do we really want to sign a player that didn't want to be here in the first place?
