Just in case we f*** up in the play-offs, who wants to be the crying fan that the cameras focus on at the end of the game? I've noticed that they fall into three main types.
1) Burly bloke in replica shirt manfully holding back tears whilst wiping eyes. Must have short, cropped hair.
2)Woman (normally blond), not usually in replica shirt, sobbing on boyfriends shoulder.
3)Small child (normally male) in replica shirt openly weeping whilst singing rousing song declaring everlasting support.

Sadly I don't seem to fit into either category although if I can get a girlfriend in the next couple of weeks I could slyly make my way into the second group.

Nope, we were stood behind the camera and I moved to one side noticing that the sky camerman was searching for a victim. My friend was too busy crying. Poof.

I cried when we DREW at Grimsby because we were relegated.

I'm not blond and I do wear a replica shirt.

I also cried when we played our last game at the Goldstone and I cried with relief when we equalised at Hereford.

Not forgetting the stereotypical vicar of RandomVillage who'll be sitting on the Cardiff-bound train in a sixties-style knitted scarf being interviewed by Meridien. He's not missed a game in thirty years. And nobody's ever seen him at a match. Bless.

I didn't cry when we lost the FA Cup in 83 or the playoffs in 91.

Mind you I had a fair old lump in the throat when the teams were presented to the dignataries just before kick-off at Wembley in 83. Pride not sorrow.

Ditto. And I must confess to a fair few lumps when I think about the Falmer campaign. IF we lose it will be far, far worse than any relegation.

I've never cried after a football match before - but I did have to fight back the tears a little at Grimsby last year.

That is the only time I've ever cried, because it felt like we were staring at the abyss. You won't find me crying with joy or dispair at any run of the mill promotion/relegation/trophy win because it's only football innit. Hereford was something else though - we could have gone bust and in all honesty my life would have changed forever for the worse.

I haven't cried in over six years so I don't think I will even if the worse comes to the worse. I think the blubbing part of my brain doesn't work anymore.

I really hate this crying bollocks - espeically when it's on the telly. I didn't cry at Grimsby, I didn't cry at Hereford, I didn't cry after the Cup Final in 1983, I didn't cry when we won the championships in 2001 and 2002, I didn't cry at Princess Diana's death, and I won't cry after these bloody play-offs.

I did cry at my Mum's funeral though.
