The reason cat shit smells so bad is the food they are given to eat (the filler in it). Blame the human not the cat. Feed a cat on Katkin, a natural diet of meat and organs only (steamed not raw), and the shit no longer smells!

I don't care if it smells of lavendar - or roses - or sugar and spice and all things nice. It's still shit, shat by somebody else's cat, and I don't want it in my garden.

Loads of people over here don't see any link between the negative things that have happened and themselves. They pick and choose their history and ancestry to excuse themselves from the mistakes and atrocities. 'cleaning up their/your mess' is a huge theme.

To be fair, I think he has mentioned that he has indigenous ancestors so not sure where he stands on that. It's another logic gap in the fallacy though. We hate all introduced species apart from ourselves (see also, immigrants).

I feel the same about the rats, birds, possums and other animals that shit in my garden. And the magpies that drop stuff on my lawn, other people's rubbish that get stuck under my hedge. Dog shit out the front of my gate.

I remember staying at my aunties when I was about 7 or 8, waking up covered in blood. Her cat (a gigantic Maine Coon called Tigger) had decided he liked me and brought me a squirrel in several pieces. My vegetarian auntie did not find it pleasant in the slightest.

We do clicker train our cat, but I was more of the idea at night and when you're out, that cats do what they want.
