Now if Gatting can't score tonight then he's f***ed
Doubt he will with Gargan on the pitch

Anyone have any info on Jack Compton the trialist who also played at Selsey. He is the one from West Brom?
Just got back.
Pretty poor game to be honest. Brighton probably had the best chances (notably when Gatting went round the keeper and then shot wide of an open goal.) but overall there was little between the 2 teams and it was settled by a dodgy pen. It was a very young and weak Brighton team though. I cannot see any of the players there being involved in the first team this season.
Don't fancy his chances if Justin Harris is playing for the Crows!
Match report from last night:
A carnival atmosphere was enjoyed by the travelling hordes at the Crowborough Community Stadium last night. It was a balmy, humid evening as the Young Stripes cascaded onto the bobbly pitch and proceeded to set about the Crows with gay abandon.
Eventually the game settled down into a slighty less frenetic pace. In a game of few chances, the most notable was when Zamora rounded the Crows keeper and still endeavoured to miss the target. His strike partner, Wardy, shook his head in disbelief.
Eric Steele in the Brighton goal was rarely troubled, but alas, could not keep out the penalty that eventually won the game. The defensive line on front of him, comprising of Cullip, Lawrenson, Gallacher and Fozzie, were immaculate all evening.
As the game drew to an end we all politely clapped the players as they received their medals amidst a moody backdrop of lightening and thunder.
Upon retiring back to the bar we were amazed at how approachable the entire Albion squad were and we talked about the offside law in depth with the likes of Peter Sayer and Clive Walker.

[/QUOTE said:I would have been more comfortable had Mr Walker put some clothes on before coming out to the bar. His dressing gown kept 'accidentally coming undone' as we discussed whether being level counts as being onside, and what constitutes interfering with play.
If hes not careful he will get a reputation.
