Apart from Harty a couple of times in the first half not one of our players is able to cross a decent ball. What the hell are we doing all week at the training ground.I have not seen such an inept performance for a good few years !Very little skill and no determination. IMO Micky this not good enough

The thing that annoyed me most was we kept putting balls into their box, and for the whole of the 2nd half it became obvious it wasnt working. Did we change it? nope we just kept playing the same way and doing the same old thing. Micky just sat there in the dougout doing bugger all ( I hardly saw him get up off of the bench to shout at the players!).

Sort it and Sort it now Micky!:censored::annoyed:

I agree to an extent but...:

- If you play Cox wide left he is always going have to cut inside
- When decent crosses did come in nobody attacked them
- Our style of play is so predictable it hurts. If your fully expecting crosses being pumped in for 90 minutes you can set yourself up to defend them.

MA's post match interview on SCR was very telling for me. All he seemed to talk about in terms of football was crosses and how poor they were. He doesn't seem to understand that football doesn't begin and end with endless crosses into the box.

It ain't rocket science to realise that high balls into the box against a team like Walsall is a complete waste of time. Their keeper and Centre Backs ( Gerrard in particular looked very good ) dealt with everything we gave them with ease. They must have been laughing their socks off at the predictability of it all.

We don't seem to have a clue how to keep the round thing on the deck and split defences open with movement and invention. We seem utterly clueless going forward and probably can't even spell the word CREATIVITY, let alone know what it means. We are one dimensional joke at home so far this season.
