Need two or three more wickets before we hit 40 overs

Over an hour since a NZ boundary, they are close to having to decide to hit out

Come on you bores I want to see England have something to chase.
It’s an ODI and you’ve 7 wickets with 17 overs. You’re playing like England used too.

Chittagong Test Bangladesh vs England 2016, EIGHT of his decisions reversed.

I do remember that. Was actually quite funny. But clearly there aren't many better umpires knocking down the door and shows just how hard it is. And of course now Erasmus has just made a much more glaring error.

Corrected for accuracy. Dreadful reviews are to blame in this situation. Same as Bairstow on Thursday.

Partly true but asking an opening bat to walk without a review is like asking a turkey to vote for Christmas. Any inkling of doubt and they will go for it. I'm sure Jason Roy was more disappointed in the umpiring decision than Bairstow wasting a review.

Ultimately the umpire has still made a bad error whichever way you look at it.
