We beat the richest team in the world last Wednesday. I was at least expecting some highlights of our match. However we had to listen to poor old Newcastle's plight again, again and again. It's so :rant::rant:.

I honestly thought when Stephen Ireland came on, we would get our 5 mins of fame, but we where reduced to a few stills that lasted about 5 seconds.

I don't know if this was due to licencing restrictions, but the BBC really do pee me off sometimes. We all pay the same license fee, so how about focusing outside of the premiershite for a change and giving teams lower down the pecking order some bloody credit.

But there are so many 'proper' premiership fans, there would be no point in showing any lower league teams. As we simply do not seem to have as many fans. (strange that isn't it)

That fact that the BBC don't have any rights to show Carling Cup footage might have something to do with it :jester:
