Out of interest, what will you do with them? They don't yet look like it'll be easy to take them apart to attach to your favourite devices, so I assume products have to come with them attached.

I am presuming that there will be standard ones that fit smart phones, kettle leads, figure 8 leads etc.

Yep, that makes sense. The plug that takes the iPhone usb cable is pretty small already, could they add another usb to that? The same plug for the iPad is much bigger, presumably for power reasons, which would also effect this new design of plugs.
