Albion are taking a look at Greek-American left-back Andreas Cronis in tonight's friendly at Crawley.

Cronis is with AEK Athens, who want to send him out on loan.

He previously played for New York Red Bulls.

On-loan Nottingham Forest midfielder Matt Thornhill makes his debut alongside trialist Alan Navarro.

Kevin McLeod is ruled out by a slight lower stomach strain, together with Gary Hart (toe).

Crawley: Rayner; Rusk, Rents, Wright, Forrest, Pinault, Cook, Killeen, Wilson, Quinn, McCrae. Subs: Jordan, Hutchinson, Giles, Ademeno, Louis, Malcolm, Cogan, Napper, Carter, Nayee.

Albion: Kuipers; Whing, Elphick, Virgo, Cronis; Spiller, Navarro, Thornhill, Cox; Murray, Dickinson. Subs: El-Abd, G. Smith, Forster, Tunnicliffe, Livermore, Hawkins, Dicker, Wright, Crofts, Davies, J. Smith.

Cronis = FLAIR!

Lower stomach strain for Mcleod?,prob due to the pressure of his non existant higher stomach pushing down on it,looks pretty trim n proper this season.

Chronis, is a left-back on trial from AEK Athens. We are looking at taking him on a loan deal.

Played in the MLS on loan last season for Red Bull alongside Juan Pablo Angel :bowdown:

This is what it says about Chronis on Wiki:

Andreas Chronis (born 25 April 1989) is a Greek-American football player currently playing for Nea Ionia on loan from AEK Athens FC in the Greek Super League.

For the 2007-2008 season, Chronis was loaned out by AEK to Greek Fourth Division club Nea Ionia. In August, 2007 spent time with the U.S. national football team U-19 national team. Chronis went to Holy Cross High School (Flushing) and the youth soccer school from New York Red Bulls. He is currently studying at the American College of Greece also known as Deree and he is devoted to soccer. He is supposed to go back to AEK Athens FC for the season 2008-2009 after having played a year in Nea Ionia as a loaned player.

(yep, not much info).
