[Albion] Crawley tickets

Yes if any Crawley fans red this and let us know be interesting I assume like all other away allocation they want them all in sections together so well South S1 before S2 and so on. Doesn't look like we are opening p the upper tiers for this game. I just cant believe there is a lack of interest in a competition we have a chance of winning!
still early days - well below 5k now - it may get close!

I reckon those 4.5k will sell along with Crawley's allocation, but looking at the seating plan there are several blocks closed - the ones nearest the away fans. If Crawley ask for more tickets then I suspect those blocks will mostly be given to their fans. If not, they'll be opened to ours before the club considers opening WSU or ESU, and even then I'm not convinced they'll bother opening either.

At best, we'll sell our remaining 4,500 quickly, Crawley will also want more tix and they'll get those unsold blocks meaning we'll have ESU opened to our fans. At worst, we'll sell our remaining 4,500 slowly and the availability will stay as it is with only 3,100 Crawley fans and large "segregation" (unsold) blocks either side. I don't see both upper tiers being opened under any circumstances.

Yep agree with that. One week to shift 4,500 is not much. Might be a flurry after Saturday's match.

Very rough count up suggests there are about 3,700 tickets left, and Crawley appear to have been allocated more tickets in the South.

Mill Road P&R open for this game, £7 per person (not per car) and must be pre-booked. I presume that will also be £7 per person for those who normally walk-up and catch the P&R bus without parking.

How many does an UT hold?

I bet they'll be reluctant if it ended up only half full after a post Man Ure annihilation rush.

Some local radio ads and maybe something in the Argus could get these gone

Large queue on the ticket site now, believe that's the Crawley fans going in to get general sale tickets.

Is that why is was busy?

3734 home tickets left.
If Crawley do fill their current allocation (or have it increased) and we are below 2,500 left by end of today, I suspect they'll open ESU and we'll have a crowd of well over 20,000 for this one, maybe 22/23k. That is a huge crowd for this stage of the competition.

so you think that if we trickle down to 2500 ish left today, we'll then sell another 7/8000 in a few days if we open ESU ????

I hope so, but seems very optimistic! :)

Wouldn't surprise me, no. I think those 2,500 will go and the remaining 4-5k ESU sales will be determined to some extent by the result against Man Utd.

I'm sure it's achievable. Crawley will bring a few for what is a local game between teams who have only ever played one meaningful game before and both clubs have started the season very well. It's also correctly priced with an appropriate number of points allocated.

Anything under 18,000 would be a bit disappointing. Well to me at least.

Good result against United and I think we sell it out (the lower tier).

No Crawley fans able to purchase today, keep getting thrown out.
Not one person I know has managed to purchase!
Surely it’s not always like this……and to think we think our Crawley ticketing set up is tin pot.
