Not surprised, I’ve known a fair few people from Crawley and most of them were absolute weapons.

doesn’t surprise me in todays weaponised multi-culture (aka gangs) Britain where kids kill each other for a pair of trainers or merely looking the wrong direction. Very sad. Certainly won’t be the last. It’s normalised behaviour. Only Feb and believe already 60 teenagers stabbed to death nationally. Imagine if we had guns in this country? Carnage. So many angry off their heads youngsters ready to kill anyone showing ‘disrespect’ or even ‘difference’ (see Brianna last week). Poor kid and their parents, feel for them.

Thanks WZ, We work with the police. They equip us with stab vests etc and the team is solid. It’s as a safe as it can be.

We try to focus on the vulnerable females but we do run into trouble at times.

I enjoy it .

Appears that knife crime is heading south. There was the murder of the musician in Crawley by a girl, the knife murder in Maidenbower and an attempted murder in a supermarket.

I don’t know if that particular statistic is true but given the stats for 2022, it’s quite possible.

If I have read this right, I may not have,
282 fatal stabbings in England alone in 2022.

So it could be feasible?

I am not privy to stats so this is PURELY anecdotal but from what I’ve seen in my time on the job, it’s not really gangs. It’s blokes with personal grudges.

My personal theory is that some of those incidents are influenced by gang culture but not directly related to it.

But as I say, that’s only my experience.

You could extrapolate that out and get a pretty big stabbing number, but maybe not 60 deaths.

But then again, we’d just be debating an awful number over a disgusting one.

There were 69 murders of teenagers in the last set of government statistics that covered a WHOLE YEAR from March 2021 to March 2022.

Murder Map (not entirely reliable) has logged eight this year in London, most of whom were not teenagers.

If a teenager or two was being stabbed to death every day even Sky News would be talking about that and not Nicola Bulley.

One of the main stream news a week or so ago, just tried looking for again but no success. Remember was just under 60, so maybe it was an entire year rather than this year and I’ve misquoted. Definitely teenagers mind.
