So glad this is happening now and not 5 years ago. Could you imagine Crawley being above the Albion !

Surely L1 is Crawleys limit.

Crawleys limit is however high the owners want to back it to be. One thing is for certain though, they cannot sustain the costs of upper league football with their support base moving forward without continual investment. Another Rushden in the making imo.

Remember that they hadn't touched the £2mil that they made last year on the cup run, let alone more season ticket sales, TV revenue this year etc

I don't think they'll be crashing out of the league anytime soon.

correct and on top of this, the unnamed investors (which evidently are to be named very soon as per league rules) have a bottomless pot of money (depending on whom you believe, but my conversation on the matter was with an Argos reporter now with Crawley full time) So with the reported £2m, addtional gate money, TV rev, Sue Carters Money and the unnamed investment, I feel that they will continue to get stronger and will look to be a championship side withn 5 years. I aslo expect gates to be around 3500 - 4000 for next year which is above average for League 2.

How does it not make sense? Maybe you want to learn to read properly?

"Crawleys limit is however high the owners want to back it to be." - What do you not understand here? Especially in reply to the question "Surely L1 is Crawleys limit?"

"One thing is for certain though, they cannot sustain the costs of upper league football with their support base moving forward without continual investment." - What do you not understand here?

"Another Rushden in the making imo." - What do you not understand here?

I saw Tyrone Barnett at, erm, Barnet last season for Macc and he didn't impress me. They should have gone for someone like Izale McLeod or Clayton Donaldson.
