This just shows the ridiculous price being attached to strikers when you consider that it is nearly as much as we paid for Murray and more than double what we paid for Forster.

Ironically, they've probably spent more than we have.

How much capacity is their stadium?

From the catchment area, both Brighton and Palace would lose out if they got full league status.

Surprised they haven't tapped Gareth for a managerial role yet...

No Zebedee, I suspect they haven't.

They may have paid more in terms of transfer fees. But you might consider signing on fees and the wage levels. Although of course, you may be right - but I doubt it.

Mentioned it before, but even if they DO go up, I can't see how this spending is sustainable just by them making it into the League. Sure there's a bit of TV money, and they might get an extra thousand or so through the turnstile (for a while at least), but is that really going to cover the financial commitments they are getting themselves into, not just on transfer fees but on the wages they are having to shell out on now ?

This will all end in tears.

Brodie is a class signing. Even we discussed him recently.

Fear this is going to be another Scarboro though

Why do people assume they cannot sustain it?

Their backers are minted.

A total of £565,000 splashed on transfer fees alone. Definitely more than us, even taking into account wages, signing on fees etc.

Like I said before, all talk, from Brighton fans, of them going bust is a bit like Crawley fans saying we will be going bust because of all the money spent on our new stadium
