Think this shows why gus doesn't like letting first team players play in the res.

Why? In case they are humiliated? Dunno ... maybe all they want is a run out but they can do that on the training ground, still thankfully it's meaningless as far as the club and league are concerned.

Think maybe just because there attitude might not be great thinking they were just going to roll Crawley over.but it's all needed game time.

I agree that but it's arrogant thinking and if Gus was hoping it was going to help with selection for Saturday it sounds like he may have some thinking to do .. still say they are supposed to be professionals ... go out a prove your worth etc

Blimey, it is only a reserve game and meaningless but 5-0 is embarrassing for those player involved.

Some result - good to see the reserves were strengthened by the return of some first teamers

Just back. Poor performance by most players. Buckley tried - Kaz tried - Barker made an effort when he came on - Toby held the ball ok when he came on - Crawley played well and pressed us forcing us into lots of lost possession. Poor pitch but same for both sides.

They looked a threat most of the game - we didn't.

Some really poor performances but I won't name and shame - Didn't hear a squeak out of Charlie

Gus couldn't have been happy

FDM was loud and proud

Looking at the line up there are 7 Albion players not wanting to pick up an injury before Saturday , are they just playing to keep fit ???
