Well I hate to say it but if Crawley ever make the league I think any matches against us wll be pretty hostile to say the least.

Rivalries between clubs fade and grow out of league positions and sometimes rivalries are amended to other clubs who come out of nowhere.

You only have to look at Chelsea to see how their rise has led to supposed long term rivalry with a number of clubs.

For an example of two different size clubs look at Port Vale and Stoke. I have mates who years ago would go and watch Vale when Stoke were away and visa versa but when Vale reached the same divisions a bitter hatred grew even across some families.

Just because Crawley may come from a lowly position does not mean they will stay there. And the influx of the afflicted from south London into that area is like ly to mean a greater catchment of those fan that we will get. Especially as 50% of our catchment of new fans are potentially fish!

If nothing else, Crawley getting into the football league might teach those deluded twats in Milton Keynes a thing or two about the correct way for a new town to achieve a football league club.

If I ever did decide to take in a game it would be Eastbourne over Crawley everytime. Frankly nothing of any worth has ever come out of Crawley.

Frankly, the belittling of Crawley on here is misplaced, tedious and gets on my f***ing tits.

Well done Steve Foster for encouraging supporters to visit other clubs when the Albion are away. For those of you who have joined us at Eastbourne Borough this season, will certainly have had value.Leading goal scorers in the Conference and a club that is not dependent on one or two individuals with money to bank roll us.Probably the best run club in the conference who don't spend money that we don't have and and don't owe money.A true community club in every way, give us a try next time?
A little dig at crawley there re their owners. And if you want to check out well run conference clubs look no further than southport, still part time no debts and a real histoty.

Crawley, one point away from the top of the league and promotion to the Fourth Division take 78 fans to Grimsby. This is a team begging for more than the 1,000 tickets Torquay have given them for their cup match next week.

But Crawley's travelling support is actually quite impressive compared to the seventeen fans supporting Eastbourne Borough's at Kettering on Saturday.

Albion Flyer had more travelling supporters than that yesterday. Strange but true, our greyhound has more fans than Eastbourne Borough.

I have no wish for Crawley to win their league why should we, they have never done us any favours and are supported in the main by paople who prefer Chelsea and Palace to us.
