I genuinely don't understand why one of NSCs more temperate personalities is acting like such a **** in this thread. Why so snippy?

Seems like a decent move on behalf of Crawley IMO, and one that may well help to attract a few more through the gates.

Perhaps because a troll with two accounts is advertising the season tickets (thread title only mentions them) of a rival Sussex club on a Brighton forum?

A club that had an institutional racism problem

If he is trolling (which,I agree, sometimes appears to be the case) then shouldn’t he be banned ? That way the rest of us could discuss pricing of football tickets referencing relevant news at Crawley. It doesn’t seem right that an important football issue gets lost because of the identity of the OP.

Let him go ahead and advertise them, (although l don't see it as advertising), Crawley and their 2,000 fans will never be a threat to us.

IMO Crawley have never been and will never be our rivals, I believe we have played them once in a first team FA Cup match.

As for the thread title only referencing Season Tickets, the article does not mention the % discount 9n match day prices so it would be wrong to assume the same discount. I believe any club moving away from the ridiculous pricing levels of match tickets should be appreciated. It is easy whilst enjoying the corporate hospitality of the NSC advertising revenues to ignore the cost to others.

As for two accounts as you have previously stated the other has been dormant for 6 odd years and log in details lost in the mist of times.

As for trolling, you accused me of that for posting a self deprecating joke. I note the person I referenced is genuinely being trolled by a poster who keeps making suggestions that person is a virgin.

As for institutional racism it seems Crawley have made strenuous efforts to eradicate that and should be applauded.

It is all about options

Only one troll on here, you troll all my posts. Perhaps you need to step back, get another mod to keep an eye on me.

It is all about options, you don't appreciate the thread, my thumbs up count on this thread suggests many do.

Given Hastings and Worthing, who are several steps down, often get crowds matching Crawley's attendance I do hope this works for Crawley. Got no interest in going myself but nothing wrong with Sussex teams doing well and getting some fans in. Also if it stops some plastics doing the trip up to London clubs then even better.

Maybe, but you wouldn't see Red Cafe promoting season tickets for Rochdale or Salford City.

To those berating Crawley well you really have disappeared right up your own Premier leagues jacksies haven't you. This is a great move by them. One that might bring in bigger crowds and help a club survive by drawing g on its local fan base. Season tickets at the Albion, and other Premier league clubs, are ridiculous. We all know that ticket revenue is largely insignificant to the club overall. If the club keep pushing the price envelope then soon all you 'loyal' fans will be paying a fortune to be surrounded by flag waving plastics. And you will deserve it.

I kind of think of Crawley in the same way I do Eastbourne, Lewes or Whitehawk. Just another little club from Sussex who I never go to watch but am quietly happy if they should do well. Actually maybe with Crawley I get a little fonder should they beat Orient or any of our old rivals from when we were grubbing about down in the lower leagues.

I really can't see them in the light of rivals so don't get the aggression on this thread at all. I find ticket reductions by Crawley as interesting a subject as if Oldham had just announced them. It is the off season, with very little transfer news so what else am I going to read? Even the joke to jours have taken a turn for the worse.

Good for Crawley, its a good option when Albion aren't playing , easy to park and i enjoy live football at all levels.
But the criticism for them on here is minimal and sure not reflective of NSC let alone the wider fanbase.
PS: Are Albion season ticket prices "ridiculous" and are they really pushing the "price envelope" . They've been effectively frozen for three years - especially for u18s and u10s (£145 - £185) and the club have already shifted 22K of em this season.
PPS : No idea who a flag waving plastic is. But happy for more flag wavers at the Amex thanks very much. Adds to the atmosphere.

I’m glad someone picked up on these overused sound bites that are so commonly used without foundation.

Crawley’s ST pricing is based on what they think their fans/watchers are willing and able to pay.

As I have repeatedly posted, this thread was about sharing information to any interested parties, I came upon it because of another initiative, prices cut even further in a reciprocal deals with local Non League clubs, something also to be applauded. Some may remember when " Fans United" meant something and in those days we saw the benefits of fans sharing information and caring about clubs other than the ones we support..
Affordability is a different issue and Crawley has a very large low wage and benefits sector, anything that helps those families get to attend and experience live football ( at whatever level) is a fantastic move by any club.

I remember a couple of occasions when we asked them for some help and they refused (different ownership accepted).

Kudos to those who support them but Brighton fans support Brighton, not Crawley.

I know some people disagree that Crawley didn't help us, that it was the council etc, but I've always been convinced, that the they didnt help us and specifically because they thought we'd go out of business at Gillingham and then they would become the biggest club in Sussex and get all our supporters.

Let’s be clear, I’ve nothing against what Crawley are doing at all, but how many Crawley residents who have a vague interest in football read NSC?

What the OP has done is post this on a board full of Brighton fans to troll our club’s pricing by comparison. That’s what his alter ego working class pride used to do.
