I have never known a successful non league side to be slagged off so much by TV pundits. Coleman and Hughton certainly didn't pull their punches!

It's little surprise that they appear to have a nasty side, as Steve Evans has made an entire career out of winding people up. He is one of the most unpopular men in football, with a long list of touchline bans and a proven history of cheating.

Loads of play acting going on from their players. I have never heard a non league side get such a slating, which says a lot.

Non league scum. Steve Evans is largely to blame as he is just a thug. Doesn't help that their fans and the town are such crap

I'd hate to draw them. Especially away. Hardly any tickets, Evans would wind them right up for it, and we'd be lucky to escape without any injuries to our players (witness the tackle by Tubbs, hardly thought of as a dirty player, on Savage in R3). Plus it would attract all the pondlife. We don't need that kind of tie thanks.

Totally agree. Originally i thought it'd be a good idea, but i'd rather we just ingore them completely.

I'm enjoying the cup run, but it cannot be at the expense of the league, and I'd be gutted if one of our players ended up out for weeks or months because of some nasty non-league wannabe trying to make a name for himself on Steve Evans' instructions.

TBH I think they would hate to draw us as well. They will want to go out against a Prem side.

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
Steve Evans was so badly behaved when he was last at Brighton. At first, I thought he was some hanger on with a personality disorder. I didn't realise that such a monstrosity could carve a career in management. I remember asking, on here, who that 'fat chav' was? Hideous fellow in all senses of the word.

This, brighton v crawley would end in tears.

I can't actually remember him coming up against us before- I presume it was in his Boston days?

Regardless, his reputation precedes him, he seems to be massively unpopular with just about every club in the non league, and plenty of League One & Two clubs, presumably as a legacy of his time at Boston and all the dubious goings on he was involved in.
