As for the Majeeds, no-one can deny that they are asute businessmen, hence my original statement. As for their current performance clearly things haven't turned out the way they intended but Crawley fans should take heart, no pun intended, and realise they are sticking with it from the fact that they have not upped sticks already.
They thought they could bring their business expertise into the football club and make a go of it, I, like many others connected with the media thought they would do a good job.
At present that isn't the case but who is to say that they are not for the long haul and will turn it round. QPR supporters welcomed Chris Wright with open arms, his track record at Chrysalis Records spoke volumes, yet it didn't work out for him and he allegedly ended up spunking the thick end of £70million.
The Majeeds have clearly done some things wrong, the Alan Mullery saga for one. As much I like the bloke perhaps they were ill advised by someone. But as I stated on this thread earlier, courtesy of Kevin Smith and his PC, John Hollins is a quality manager who I hope will keep Crawley in the Conference.
As for lacking in knowledge of the non-league scene, obviously my 30 odd years supporting Worthing and my last 8 years on the committee at Worthing United count for nothing then...........
It is a game of opinions I have expressed mine, on numerous occasions, if ultimately I am proved to be wrong I will be the first to hold my hands up.

Harty said:So does that mean an apology will be forthcoming, something along the lines of the one I have to make as I made a mistake about the Majeeds?
Lest we all forget Wookie in 1994 David Bellotti recieved a standing ovation at a Gulls Eye Dinner from Messrs Hart, Kennard, Baine, Samrah, Vinicombe, Naylor, Millard and Brady!
