Don't know how strong a team they put out but....:lolol: :lolol: :drink:

I heard that Crawley didn't field a full strength team because they didn't want key players injured

Ifield, Crawley
Crawley rested club captain Ian Simpemba, John Robinson and Neil Jenkins and even played Danny 'DDD' Davidson (after Alan Tait was sold to Canvey Island as he didn't want to turn full time).

Palace were given taught a footballing lesson in the second half and faded badly against a hardworking and tough tacking Crawley Team.

P.S. loan us Jarrett would ya ......:)

Palace: Richard Banks, Sam Togwell, Danny Granville, Anthony Danze, Glenn Wilson, Tony Popovic, Tommy Black, Ryan Hall, Lewis Grabban, Tyrone Berry, Nathan Simpson.
Subs: Wesley Beckles, David Wilkinson, Tommy Welch, Lewis Spence, Phil Starky, Ero Peltonen.

Not knowing much about them I only recognise Granville, Popovic, and Black.

Dowie was in attendance, as was his equally good looking brother. :jester:

I heard the winning goal was a Crawley penalty - Andrew Johnson got confused (not unusual) and dived at the wrong end.

Haywards Heath
Crawley drew 1 -1 with Haywards Heath on Monday.

Therefore Haywards Heath should be able to beat......

To put it into perspective.

Richard Banks not even in the reserves

Sam Togwell Reserve player but unlikely to make 1st team next season.

Anthony Danze Reserve Player

Glenn Wilson Never heard of him

Ryan Hall Fringe Reserve player

Lewis Grabban Just broken into reserve squad

Tyrone Berry Fringe reserve player

Nathan Simpson Never heard of him

All the subs must be from our academy as not heard of them either so not much to get excited about. Granville,Popo & Black all coming back from long lay offs due to injury.

Not as much as we'll laugh when Andy Johnson's value will fall like he does in the penalty area... if you got offered 7m for him and turned it down you know you're being run by a mug
