Went past Craven Cottage last night and i have got to say it looks a great ground now the redevelopment has been completed. Looks like none of the old character has been lost unlike some of the other modern stadium redevelopments.

Just goes to show what can be done if the council, club and fans all work together, albeit after a falling out or two!

the site tells us that Fulham's "official" Champagne is Larson. There's somthing not quite right about that.

nice to see they have kept the craven cottage in the corner

lovely ground.

No it didn't - the terracing was falling apart - most of the away end was condemned (a la the East Terrace at the Goldstone).

This looks a vast improvement on what was offered previously.

Just shows what we could have done at the Goldstone if some twats had shown a little imagination

Well done FFC:clap:

I loved the old Craven cottage, especially the big terraces... Great for a massive Albion following... Was probably up there with Peterborough's London Road as my top ground of the 52 i've done.

The away end has a roof! Looks like a great traditional football ground, hope we can draw them in a cup competition 'cos Fulham is a good day out.

new capacity is 22,000 I believe. Not sure they will ever achieve this though due to segregation.

Well they averaged about 16,000 last year at Loftus road.
Having thier own home again will draw back crowds, and they had to pay extortionate prices at Loftus road.
Sound like a familiar story?

Who is this aimed at? I didn't say they wouldn't fill the ground I said they wouldn't get 22,000 because seats would be lost to segregation. Bit like Reading.

I was just impressed by how they were able to turn a classic terraced based stadium into a modern all seater stadium with relatively little expense and time.

I wish the same sort of redevopment had happened to some of the other famous old stadiums all over the country that are now supermarket carparks. Just imagine what the Goldstone might have looked like if it had got the same makeover :(
