I've met Eugene who used to be in Big Brother.

Mate at Uni had the crappest though. His school fete was officially opened one year by one of the airmen that hid in Renee's loft in Allo Allo!

Beat that for crapness!

Stayed in the spare room which had pictures of him plastered all over the walls!!

Cooked me porridge in the morning :lolol:

In Manchester I was once introduced to Gordon 'Is A' Moron of Jilted John fame. I think his real name was Bernard or something.

'tis John Shuttleworth, no less, THPP!! For years I thought he was also Frank Sidebottom (a "comedy"character I never got)

Time to give Graham Fellowes his due methinks.

Indeed. 'True Love Stories' is an underrated classic of unrequited love

As in...

I've been going out with a girl, Her name is Julie.
Then one night she said to me when we were watching Telly....
This is what she said.
She said "Listen John I love you, but theres this bloke I fancy.
I don't want to two-time you, so its the end for you and me"

I was so upset that I cried, all the way to the chip shop
And when I got there there was Gordon, standing at the bus stop.
And guess who was with him?
Yeah, Julie!
And they were both laughing at me!

Can't remember the rest...

I met Steve Sidwell once.
D-list Cert.
:glare:

Jordan is a moron, Jordan is a moron. . .

At least, that's how it should have been. ;)

I'd assume so.
I once drank tea from a mug belonging to THPP.

How does that compare?

Was that mug called Ernest by any chance?

at home
I met Madjeski once on the M40 at a service station. He was there with a couple of other Reading directors and when he shuffled off to the loo, I said to one of the other guys " So, you took our Coppell".....the bloke said " He is a miserable sod, you can have him back".........this was before they were promated and became a decent premiership side.

The Deep Blue Sea
1) Remember the MasterCard World Cup ad from 2002: "How's about a trip to Japan then, lads?!"

Mate o' mine, Darryl...also did BT ad that year and has appeared in Casualty (woefully) and The Bill. (Missed out on part in that 'Joey' (Friends spinoff) thingy due to Elvis style weightgain situation.)

2) Remember the Boddington's ad set on the Manchester Ship Canal? "By 'eck, that Gladys Althorpe...she never buys 'er own" (spoof on the old Cornetto ice cream ad').

'nother mate o' The Capt's:thumbsup:
