this article makes very interesting reading about the success or lack thereof of league 1 top scorers stepping up. Leon Knight was in the failed category.

Interestingly enough, the two i'd compare CMS to on that list are Scotland and Earnshaw, who at that time were both small, nippy strikers who poached goals and could hold the ball up despite their size. Billy Sharp has also come on a lot since leaving Sheff Utd.
