Surely if he did want to leave now it would cost the buyers alot of money to buy him out of a 3 year contract

Hmm, going by the Elliott Bennett transaction that doesn't always hold true, sadly. But, I guess now we are in the Championship we can ask and expect more for our decent players on longer term contracts.

I see his contract extension as a sign that we are now in the process of improving certain players wages to that of our competitors. Gus has previously mentioned that our wage structure may need to be higher and this may be the start. This bodes well for the close season and the type of players that Gus will be after.

Just dont think he can cut it in the Championship, looked a good Div 1 player last season, but looks average Championship player,so quick easy profit, yes please.

But he has been great most of the time he has played this season.really don't understand how you can say that.

I can't see clubs offering substantially more than we've already been offered for Noone.

Excited considering how he made Donny look silly on Saturday. If Nooney nets one tomorrow night I'll wet myself with excitement and simultaneously shed a tear as I won't be there to see it.
