Always thought he had lots of unfair criticism at the Albion. Always gave absolutely everything - great role model - and was hampered badly by a nasty injury which meant he was never the same player. Very unlucky.

Hope the guy enjoys his life post football.

Yup, such a genuine buzz when we all posed for photos with our (£3M?) Marquee Signing at pre-season friendly at Burgess Hill. Seemed like a new era. Seemed like a decent genuine lad as well. Shame things never really worked out for him here. It certainly wasn't through lack of effort. Wishing CMS all good things for his retirement

Felt so sorry for the guy, playing for a mentally arthritic manager. He was quality, and scored some amazing goals. Burnley away comes immediately to mind. We signed him, and simply didn't play to his strengths.
