You're right. I was sitting back in my seating saying it's offside before I the ball was crossed, because I saw the offside from block H (and I saw the lino's flag).

So Dickinson doesn't run about like a headless chicken chasing down balls he will never get to and people call him lazy. If you watch closely he is very good at covering gaps. In the first half, Dicker had intercepted a ball and was up next to Forster when the ball went through to their keeper. Dickinson went straight back into midfield to cover the gap until Dicker could get back into position.
He also defends well when needed and sticks to his defensive duties until the danger is cleared rather than just run off up front leaving a man unmarked. People near me were moaning at him not chasing down a ball in the second half when he had just run 50 yards up the pitch from helping the defense.
Yes, he's a stroppy git who picks up needless bookings. Yes, he could do with a goal now to give him some confidence. What shouldn't be doubted is his commitment. Walking off at the end of the game he looked genuinely pissed off that we had lost the game.

agreed, I personally think he is a good player but he just didn't look into it today
some people must have watched the game with their head up their arse today, Dickinson was rubbish had a touch of a rapist was more worried about getting tackled and if his socks were in the right place no effort at all would defo start with Davies thought he had a bit more about him.
my main concern though was the poor defending from crosses had two centre halves 6ft plus who can,t head a football the pair of them were total pony would rather have EL ABD and Virgo in the centre. Also could do with someone in centre mid who is going to put their foot in.

Davies wasted one opportunity, Bennett wasted a glorious chance, Forster missed when one vs one, Dickinson missed with a decent effort I thought, at least Davies actually won some headers and I thought physically he looked very strong and set up Bennett's chance, it's good to have competition upfront.

Thought Davies played well but I don't think Dickinson deserves the stick he's getting. He's a Hesky type (the one criticism I have is that, for his height, he doesn't challenge enough in the air - I believe he did for our first today, need to see those goals again tonight)
Personally I think Crofts, and to a certain extent Dicker, does that well
