Players are STUPID if they read NSC, in the same way it would be stupid for them to sit in the South Stand when they aren't playing.

Frankly though, i'd be amazed if Davies can even read.

I try my best to stear clear of abusing people I've never met but you Sir are a f***ing plank.

Nope. 92nd minute, one-on-one, 10 yards out, the ball simply requires rolling into the corner for 3 points - and he balloons it wide. Donkey finishing we can't afford if we're to stay up.

I love this. The way you make it sound it was like Forster's last week, 10 yards clear with only the keeper to beat. He was under pressure the whole time, and yes, the finish was poor, but to say ALL he had to do was ROLL it in the corner is just bollocks. But you know that, looking for a rise and getting one. Twat.

Not as stupid as some of the people who write on here.

There is a line between irony and unpleasant abuse, and what side do you think you are on?

Er, you're supposed to be a moderator, yes?

So I've crossed the line because in the heat of the moment after a game i've called a player a donkey (which is a HELL of a long less abusive than some of the names people were calling him at the match) ? Yet you'll ignore post after post of people calling me '****' this, 'wanker' that, and giving running commentary of how they've stalked me at a match ?

Yep, I'm the stupid and unpleasant one. :glare:

Yes, I OBVIOUSLY enjoy 5 pages of cretins like you calling me a twat, and I clearly DELIBERATELY re-write what i've seen simply to get this abuse. :wozza:

FACT: It looked just as simple as Forsters last week to me.

What the hell is the point in this forum if you can't have an opinion that doesn't fit with the majority?

If thousands of flies eat shit there must be something to it. Ever considered that people are so sick of your constant moaning and finger-pointing that they might have a point? You can either accept it and do something about it or continue to post the shit you do and get the deserved reactions.

Well said

I think a 28 day ban will give him some food for thought before he slags off players,Knight, managers etc in his future posts.

To be honest I thought your comment about him not being able to read was more offensive.

Surely it would be great if we thought the players could come on here and join in a bit of banter. The comments about both players and management get on here are IMO disproportionate to the 'crimes' that many accuse them of.

I'm sure he would have loved to have scored, it was not a deliberate error, he was probably over anxious due to the pressure of the moment. It happens in all works of life, mine included, and probably yours too. Just because someone makes a mistake doesn't mean they should be written off.

Well it would surprise me if he could read - he's a footballer (be fair, the amount of well educated footballers is minimal) and he sounds far from articulate in his interviews, but I can see why you think that's offensive. Why you feel the need to pick up on this, while sidestepping the '****' 'twat' 'wanker' abuse however I don't know.

He may well have been "over anxious due to the pressure of the moment" - similarly, i've accepted I was OTT in the heat of the moment. Don't recall writing him off though.

Genuine suggestion then; the next time you're 'in the heat of the moment' don't post a thread like this. Have a wank or a cup of tea or both and give yourself a pat on the back for the restraint you've shown. Really, I'm not being sarcastic, the only purpose threads like these serve is to get people so wound-up they call you the things they do. It's likely Craig and other players don't read NSC (although we know some do) but that's not an excuse for saying whatever you like about them (and this doesn't just apply to you). Consider they may well read it and what effect that may have. Ask yourself how you would feel in their position. Footballers and managers are only human beings like the rest of us so just try and show them the same respect you'd like to be shown. Sound reasonable?

To a certain extent.

****, Wanker, Twat.

Why?

f***ing hell, there's a thread on here devoting to slating moaners at a match, i'm practically being lynched on his for choosing to moan online instead - are Albion fans no longer allowed to express a negative opinion?

Where did I say you re-wrote anything? Are you honestly saying that you don't post stuff like your opening post here, in other words knee-jerk reactionary abuse, without looking for a reaction?

If you really think that chance was as simple as Forster's bobble last week then I reckon that demonstrates your knowledge of the game perfectly.

Nothing wrong with having an opinion, it's entirely the way you express it.

1) There is a BIG difference between trying to generate discussion and trying to generate some fairly hurtful personal abuse.

2) Or maybe it demonstrates the angle I had of both goals? Just a thought.

There is a world of difference between not being well educated and not being able to read. There are lots of people who have defined problems with reading and understanding language. I work with children in a special school for kids just such a problem, and it has nothing to do with a poor education.

The amount of complete rubbish you post on here suggests that maybe you would be better going out and getting a life, then you might avoid some of the abuse you seem to be attracting.

1) I agree, but when you use abusive language as an opener why expect anything different back?

2) I don't buy that. Forster was in acres, no one near him for 10 yards, looked amazed he was onside, and was done by the pitch. Davies was running full tilt with a defender at his heels and had to take it perhaps earlier than he wanted. Poor finish, definitely, but much much harder than Forster's.
